Not Sure Which Life Stage Assessment Fits You?
Exam Results Depend on
More Than What a Student Knows.
See the Mindset Behind Exam Performance.
The Competitive Exam Readiness Compass is a psychometric assessment for students aged 13–17. It measures the psychological readiness that decides whether a student’s knowledge and ability turn into performance in competitive exams.
It measures 16 constructs in six readiness clusters, from 80 questions in about 20–25 minutes. It can be taken on its own, or with Strengths Compass Pro, which adds about 10 minutes.
Built for the Psychology of Performance
CERC is not a knowledge test. It shows the psychological factors that separate students who perform on exam day from those who underperform, whatever their preparation hours.
Six readiness clusters in a hexagonal profile, from foundational beliefs outward to study habits, showing a student’s readiness at a glance.
Including self-efficacy, growth mindset, locus of control, autonomous motivation, grit, perseverance, emotional regulation, test anxiety, metacognition and sustained attention.
Every cluster and construct falls into High, Medium or Low, each shown in a shade of green. Low is a starting point for growth, not a bad result.
Each cluster explained, all 16 constructs with practical next steps, and charts of the readiness profile.
Six Readiness Clusters, From Belief to Execution
“Does your child believe they can succeed, and that effort matters?”
The foundation of exam performance: without belief in their own capacity, strategy and effort both fall short.
“Why are they on this path, and do they know where it leads?”
Motivation that is their own carries preparation through plateaus; outside pressure alone tends to wear thin.
“Will they keep going over months, and stay with hard problems?”
The ability to keep up effort through difficulty, setbacks and long preparation periods.
“Can they manage everyday pressure and recover from setbacks?”
Poor mock test scores, setbacks and long preparation cycles call for steady emotions and the ability to bounce back.
“Can they perform under exam pressure?”
The ability to stay calm, think clearly and attempt difficult problems confidently when the exam clock is running.
“Are study hours turning into real learning?”
Hours at a desk mean little without good study methods. This cluster shows how well a student plans, focuses and checks their own learning.
