Our Mission

To democratize access to high-quality, evidence-based strengths assessment

Empowering people to make informed decisions about education, careers, and personal development — from adolescence through professional maturity. We believe meaningful growth begins with accurate self-awareness, and that exceptional psychological assessment should not be reserved for those who can afford expensive consultants.

Our Story

Assessment should be the beginning of growth,
not the end of inquiry

We recognized a critical gap in the assessment landscape: most tools either provided shallow insight without actionable guidance, or were prohibitively expensive and inaccessible to the majority of Indian students and working professionals.

Traditional personality assessments told people what they were like but offered little direction on how to develop or where to apply their strengths. Axis Compass Analytics was born from the conviction that scientifically rigorous and culturally relevant assessment need not be a trade-off.

The Gap We Saw

Shallow tools or expensive inaccessible ones — nothing in between for Indian students and professionals.

The Conviction That Guided Us

Build tools that were scientifically rigorous, culturally relevant, comprehensive, actionable, and accessible.

Where We Started

A vision to help students make better career choices — grounded in evidence, not guesswork.

Where We Are Today

A comprehensive platform serving four life stages — from adolescents to experienced leaders.

What We Do

Four capabilities. One integrated platform.

From proprietary psychometric instruments to institutional partnerships, every capability is built to close the gap between insight and action.

What We Do

We design psychometric assessments grounded in research and built for practical use. Our flagship, Strengths Compass Pro, measures 18 strengths in six clusters, at three levels you can act on; alongside it, the Competitive Exam Readiness Compass and the Career Interest Explorer serve students aged 13–17.

  • Age-calibrated: Developmentally appropriate for adolescents through experienced professionals
  • Culturally adapted: Accessible Indian English across socioeconomic contexts
  • Synergy-tension aware: Reveals where strengths reinforce or conflict
  • Action-oriented: every strength linked to development practices
Digital Platform Technology

We built our own secure, proprietary assessment delivery platform because third-party solutions couldn’t meet our standards for user experience, data security, and institutional scalability.

  • Multi-device accessibility: laptop, tablet, smartphone
  • Instant report generation with online viewing and PDF download
  • Group administration with aggregate analytics for institutions
  • Privacy-first architecture — individuals own their data
  • Longitudinal tracking to measure growth over time
Individual Services

We serve individuals at every life stage, from early academic decisions through leadership optimization in experienced careers.

  • Students (8th–12th): Stream selection, subject guidance, strengths identification
  • College students & graduates: Career direction, job-readiness, placement preparation
  • Working professionals: Role optimization, career transitions, leadership growth
  • Experienced leaders: Strategic positioning, legacy planning, board readiness
Institutional Solutions

We partner with schools, colleges, and organizations to integrate strengths assessment into talent development systems at scale.

  • Schools: Cohort analytics, exam readiness, stream selection, curriculum planning
  • Colleges: Incoming batch assessment, placement strategy, leadership pipeline
  • Organizations: Workforce profiling, role-fit, leadership risk, succession assessment
  • All: Training needs prioritization and longitudinal impact measurement

Our Science

How are the assessments built and validated?

Strengths Compass Pro is validated in India for students and adults, and CERC is validated with students aged 13–17. The 18 strengths draw on established research; every version includes reverse-scored items and checks that flag over-stated answers. Adult versions have 126 questions, the 13–17 version 90.

Synergy and tension

Our assessments include synergy-tension analysis, because high strengths don’t always combine smoothly. Understanding and managing these tensions is often more valuable than developing new strengths.

High Initiative + Low Self-Discipline → Execution gaps

High Altruism + Low Emotional Regulation → Burnout risk

High Leadership + Low Empathy → Friction in teams

What Does Strengths Compass Pro Measure? 18 Strengths in 6 Clusters

Strengths Compass Pro measures 18 strengths in six clusters, each drawn from a distinct area of psychological research and combined into one strengths profile, from empathy and reliability to resilience and leadership.

Our Team

Four specialist disciplines. One shared purpose.

Our cross-functional team integrates deep expertise across psychology, engineering, coaching, and institutional development.

Assessment Design

Our psychometric team includes organizational psychologists, educational researchers, and psychometricians with expertise in construct validation, survey methodology, and developmental psychology. We continuously refine items based on field data and emerging research.

Technology Platform

Our engineering team built the assessment platform from the ground up, prioritising security, accessibility and user experience. It handles everything from delivering the questions to instant scoring and report generation.

Coaching & Interpretation

We train and certify coaches in strengths-based development methodology. Coaches learn to interpret assessment results in context, facilitate goal-setting conversations, design behaviour-change practices, and track developmental progress over time.

Institutional Partnerships

Our education and organizational specialists work directly with schools, colleges, and companies to customize implementation, train internal teams, interpret aggregate analytics, and measure program impact longitudinally.

Why Organizations Trust Us

Built for India. For impact.

Five principles behind how we work.
Data Security & Privacy

Your results are stored on our in-house platform with no third-party data sharing. They are yours, shared only if you choose; for students aged 13–17, the report goes to the student and the parent.

Cultural Relevance

Designed for Indian contexts from the start: the Indian education system, career landscape and linguistic diversity. The 13–17 version is written at a Class 8–10 reading level.

Actionable Outputs

We don’t stop at insight. Every report includes a practical development roadmap with specific behaviours to practice, situations to seek, and resources to access. Institutions receive prioritized intervention recommendations, not just dashboards.

Longitudinal Support

Assessment isn’t a one-time event. We encourage retaking it after six months or more to track growth, measure the effect of development work and adjust plans as people evolve.

Integration Capability

For enterprise clients, we integrate with existing HR systems, learning management platforms, and talent management software — ensuring assessment data informs ongoing people decisions, not just initial hiring.

Our Commitment

A promise to every stakeholder we serve

To Individuals

You deserve assessment that respects your complexity, honours your context, and provides genuine guidance — not generic platitudes. We commit to tools that are scientifically sound, culturally relevant, and practically useful at every stage of your journey.

To Educators

Schools and colleges need more than test scores to develop whole students. We commit to affordable, scalable assessment that reveals not just what students know, but who they are and who they can become — and how to support that growth.

To Organizations

Companies deserve talent intelligence that drives real business outcomes — better hiring, stronger teams, effective leaders, thriving cultures. We commit to analytics that inform strategy, not just satisfy HR compliance requirements.

To the Assessment Field

We believe high-quality psychological assessment should be accessible, not reserved for those who can afford expensive consultants. We commit to democratizing strengths assessment while maintaining uncompromising scientific rigour.
